Yo,
The following is mainly recreation; After a couple trips to the Chinese buffett, I know Christella this is great for the five pounds. Some friends got their daughter a Wii for Christmas. We went to their house. My friends, I have found the blind person's video game. I bowled and scored a 132 which was fun enough. After a couple practise throws, it was really easy. You simulate the normal throw at the lane, any numb-nut could do this lol. However, the boxing game is awesome! Like bowling, it simulates actual fighting. I was the only blind one there so of course everyone wanted to see Joe try it. Lemmee at it! I was throwing jabbs, upper-cuts, hooks, body shots, it was great! I was dancin! STickin and movin! People, I kicked a little ass and took a few names. I was 7-0 with 7 k.o.s before suffering my first defeat mainly due to exhaustion. This thing is a narly cardio workout. There is little vision required as you can tell when your guy lands, when your energy is lowering, and when a fighter goes down. The only problem I had was telling who was knocked down as when you go down you have to shake or as I did jump with the controller to get up. Everyone was laughing and exclaiming at what a hoot I was having no shame I was totally into this thing determined to become the champion of the world. The other concession I made to my blindness, I guess though maybe just a strategy, was because I could not see my opponent, I threw punches the entire duration of the fights mixing my combos. My buddies would periodically tell me where the guy's hands were in relation to where I might ought to punch. My friend, who is older than I and can see was an aimer and was good as well. My record for the night before I gassed, I lifted upper body earlier today, was a respectable 12-3 on the evening. Not bad for my maiden voyage, I may even have new year's plans (smile) For the record, I sweat like crazy and had three cups of water while playing this video game. I am interested to see if I get up at six and go lift lower and do cardio.
"Mamma said knock you out!" "I'm gonna knock you out!" Mamma Said Knock You Out L.L. Cool J
