[Sportsandrec] Merry Christmas

Hi,
I have had more than my share of sweets including soda, cookies and cake in
the past few weeks. It was yummy. When you're around that at parties one
can't resist especially when there is few if any healthy alternatives. At
the nfb chapter party I lost count of how much I ate. I generally stick
with water for meals and a little juice here and there with snacks. But I
went for the good soda at the parties. At my father's Christmas party there
was plenty of food and although it was healthier the three course meal added
up to a lot of calories: salad, entree and dessert. Holidays bring lots of
food. Even though I'm around this unhealthy treats at home, I eat them
during the day, not night as I used to so it has more time to burn up.
But I'll scale back in January.

Joe, if you are more disciplined, good job.
Justin, I too wish to gain more spiritual power; I am a Christian.
Rania, enjoy your yoga classes. I encourage you to write for Competition
Corner or the Braille Monitor and share your experience, what you liked and
how it benefited you.

I don't have specific goals yet. Maybe it will be a little weight loss.
Right now I know I want to maintain my fitness level. As the new year comes
I'll refine my goals.

Merry Christmas!

Ashley
