I could do it at some point.  I forget what level I'm at.
I use the treadmill more than eliptical.  For elipticals I'm probably at a 
lower level.  Levels depend on your goal and fitness endurance.
Yes variation  in workouts is key; otherwise you get bored and your body 
adapts quicker.
