Hi, Deborah,
Perhaps it would be better to seek out an actual Pilate
teacher you are doing it right. It seems to me, as someone who
practices yoga that it's worth the possible extra expense to have
confirmation that the poses are done properly, and so that they will
maximize all benefits.
Plus, you can build relationships and contacts within the Pilate
community for further expansion of familiarity.
