[Sportsandrec] tandem ride or not tandem ride

Dear Listers:
 
There is no tandem ride this year for the simple reason that no one volunteered to take on the organization of one. I was unsure whether I'd be coming this year and twice, on this list, offered to provide all contact info for the local tandem clubv, bus company, etc. to anyone who would take on the responsibility. No one came forward so there is, thus, no ride.
