I know the interval running was how my daughter started, and she runs quite
a lot now.

What I always suggest to people is that they try interval running. For
example you might run one minute walk one minute or run two minutes walk one
minute. There are several things out on the net about it Whether you use a
purchased interval counter or just the timer on your phone. That way at
first you were only running a couple of minutes at a time. Hope that helps.

Would like to know your suggestions and techniques in order to accomplish
this goal. She is also thinking of joining a running club. If any of you
has done this as well, please provide suggestions and/or techniques.
