Hello all,

I always think its good to track fitness activities including the steps walked/run if you use a treadmill or space where you can walk a lot or biked a lot. I also think its a good idea to have stats such as heart rate. What fitness tracking tools do you use? You may do it low tech with simply braille or large print paper. However, there are now many fitness tracking tools.
Personally, I do not have one yet and I track my activity on my laptop in a Word file.

Some of you may write it in Braille notetakers or your tablet devices.

However, I thought how nice it would be to have a device measure this and measure heart rate.

I do not have a smart phone but do have an Ipad I can experiment with. Other than a pc, I also have a BrailleNote.

So, what fitness tracking devices are out there that we can use?
Is the fitbit accessible? What about others such as the
Garmin Vivosport and the Move Now?

I'd like to do interval workouts when I'm more in shape.
Are there devices out there to alert you when a preset interval is elapsed?
I currently just use my large print watch but I cannot look at it constantly since I need to face forward so this option does not work too well. With my little vision, I can sometimes see the display on the cardio machine which displays the time, distance, and speed. So that is an option sometimes but I find that to see it I usually have to slow down and focus my eyes. So, something with talking or audible features would be ideal.

Thanks for any ideas.
Ashley
