John, I didn't answer one part of your email.  You mentioned about my social 
responsibility.  That's a very arrogant assumption.  Blindness is not the 
only thing that comes to mind when it comes to social responsibility and you 
can't blatantly say that this should be my primary responsibility anymore 
than I should have the nerve to tell you that your primary responsibility to 
others is going to church every Sunday.  If I'm in a position to help other 
blind people I'll do it because I want to.  I'm not standing on a soap box 
with a tin can begging people to listen to my blind experience and how I 
know how I can help them.  I have friends who are blind and they know if 
they ever need help that I am capable of giving all they have to do is ask. 
That's friendship, not born of the necessity of having "to give back".
