Helene, I read the last chapter.  The ending is open ended.  I understand that you want to write a sequil, but the story itself has to come to some sort of conclusion.  Question: Is Nadia wearing a frill dress like a young girl symbolic of her immaturity?  That point isn't clear.
My advice is to put it away for awhile and come back in a month or two with new eyes.  I've done that.  It helps a lot.  Judith
