[stylist] question re article

Dear list
An article I wrote was given to Slate & Style with someone else's byline, but I still format the issue, and found it.  The indication is that the article, about Joyce Kane and Krafters Korner appeared on stylist.  If it did, I missed it.

But let's face it, this is the new definition of chutzpah (usually defined as killing your parents and throwing yourself on the mercy of the court because you are an orphan):

Take an article written by someone else, put your byline on it, and present it to the original writer to edit.

It is possible the article may wind up in the Monitor, so I've written to Dan Frye, and also to Joyce Kane, but I am still quite upset.  I was promised a byline on the website, but didn't get it.  I will not put my article under someone else's byline in Slate & Style, and Shelley has agreed it might be best just to leave it out.

Still, the information should get out.  I'm still researching this, but if anyone knows anything about it, kindly contact me.
