thanks for posting your poem, Helen. I am a lover of winter, my favorite 
season here in western Pennsylvania.  I find that this season as a theme in 
a lot of my own work.

The sneering face of winter,

Lip curled, into oblivion,

Teeth exposed and shining,

has taken up housekeeping  here.

With me.

I shudder her lip down,

My back to the wind.

She kneels to comfort me,

As I make it

Through

Four

Months

Of housekeeping.
