Welcome, Sherry. Look forward to getting to know you on the list.

I'm from Nebraska where I live with my husband, Ross, and our soon to be
two-year-old son, Declan.

I have a BFA in creative writing. I've had several nonfiction essays and
memoirs published. I love writing fiction as well, but so far, no
fiction pieces published yet. I've had several ideas for full-length
manuscripts and started a couple, but so far, none finished. I'm also
senior editor for Slate & Style, magazine of NFB Writers' Division.

I actually don't mind editing, though yes, it can be a long process. But
I kind of enjoy combing through my work to find where I can strengthen,
revise and of course, fix errors.

With your fan fiction, what do you write about? I've grown increasingly
interested in fan fiction and have considered trying my hand at it, but
I have little time to write these days, so none of my fan fiction ideas
have come to life yet.

Good luck with your editing process and look forward to reading your
work here and sharing mine.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this list. I currently live in Colorado. I've written a few
articles for various newsletters for Guide dogs for the blind and also
had a poem published in the anthology, Two plus Four Equals One. I've
written several fan fiction stories and have been on the pre reading
team for several authors of both fan fiction and novels. I've written a
novel, had an assessment and am working on revisions. Revising is
miserable work. I hate it and find it much more difficult than writing
the original! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here and
sharing the gift of words with you.

Sherry

"The day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our
friends and break all bonds of fellowship, when the age of men comes
crashing down.
But it is not this day! This day, we fight!
By all that you hold dear, by this good earth,
I bid you, STAND! Men of the West!"
