[stylist] Dealing with frustration memories!

If using a cane or dog, rearranged furniture really isn't a problem. And
sighted people can be frustrated when items are moved as well because you
are not expecting it. For example, I worked an office job during university,
and my boss moved filing cabinets on me, so I had to figure out their new
location, and I was sighted at this point. It was frustrating as a large
portion of my job was to file things. So this is not a unique situation to
blind people either. And since being blind, as long as I have my cane, I
have not had huge problems when people move furniture on me.

But yes, all humans experience frustration and irritation. We all have
problems, we all deal with situations differently, we all undergo stress and
frustration. It's just a part of being human, disabled or not.

I think humans have frustrations all the time weather we're blind or
sighted. We all deal with crap. People are bullied no for many reasons, so I
don't think we're really a class of our own in that as blind people. No
sighted people won't have trouble, for example if the furniture at their job
is moved all around but if their boss nitpicks them for other stuff, it's
just as unpleasant and though each person, be they blind or sighted has a
different situation, the feelings it inspires are much the same. Remembering
that helps us not to feel so separated as it's really not true. This said, I
feel general coping skills apply as well as good clear communication even if
it may seem unnecessary or obvious.
