Hmm... Beer in pancake batter, will have to try that, smile. How much do you
add to the batter?

The only soda I drink and buy at home is diet root beer, specifically A & W
or Barqs.

I like beer sometimes, but it can also be used in pancake batter.  
It makes the pancakes light and fluffy.  (Don't ask me why, it just does).

Speaking of Narnia, has anyone had ginger beer? Does it really exist? Or are
they talking about root beer? Ginger is one of my favorite spices, (of
course used in moderation).  But I really enjoy the taste, and at
Christmastime, I make gingersnaps, though they aren't really that much of a
Christmas cookie.  I just like 
them so I make them.  (Smile).    Debby
