[stylist] Spiders and snakes and bats....

First, I understand Sem and Atty's explanations, smile.

Second, I don't think spiritualism should be off topic here, at least as
long a no one is attempting to convert. Many writers address spiritualism in
their writing, so clearly it isn't completely off topic for a writing list.
And as mentioned numerous times here, most discussions can lead us to be
better analytical thinkers, which can lead us to be better writers. So as
long as posters are not trying to convert, chastise, belittle or condescend,
I say go for it.

Plus, plenty post have been made about Judeo-Christian topics and few
complain, so any belief any of us have should not be up for criticism when
posting.

And the Chakra discussion has come up before with no negative comments, so I
say carry on, grin.

Sem, You got me totally wrong. I never said that Totems are angels. I would
never say something like that. I was trying to find a comparitive
relationship to explain things to Bridget.. This is probably one of the
reasons why spiritual talk is not appropriate here, everyone has different
ideas and beliefs and if I answer with my thoughts on this subject, I will
likely offend someone.
Quickly though, raccoons are totally cool. They are the most lovable
creatures I have ever known..
