Hi! A very interesting story.  So many things I could say.  
First, though, if you are going to send it anywhere, you do need 
to do some editing.  But I'm sure you know that.

I think all of us yearn, in a way for a community where we are 
not shunted off to the side, looked upon as different, thought of 
as amazing or someone to be pitied, where people totally 
understand, and a place away from the rest of the world.  No 
matter how skillful we are, how good a job we do, etc..  we are 
never quite the same as everybody else.  Interesting.    Debby
