[Stylist] Designing The Visuals

Hey, writers and readers.
How’s it going?
I’ve been buried in wood shavings the last couple of weeks. That is, making sure each comma is in place, each typo dealt with, and each spelling error corrected.
Now, I’m in the design and layout phase.
They’re asking me to provide some kind of visual concept for my cover, and I’m totally perplexed.
I haven’t a clue how to think visually at all, much less imagine a concept.
What makes it most challenging is that it must be as personal and unique as my story. I don’t know what book covers are like, as Braille and audio books don’t give that information.

I’d appreciate some ideas, such as, where did you find your concepts for your book covers?
I intend to be proactive, as far as that is concerned since my publisher has never worked with a blind person before.
I intend to ask my project manager for help.
But if you remember the story I’m publishing and have some ideas, I’d like to hear them.
Thanks so much.
Thea
