Hi all,
Here's another tactile painting I did yesterday...it's called the
living room. I did not concentrate much on the theme this time as my
motive was to include a variety of tactile elements in it. Here's it's
description: It is an indoor scene with a green color wall and cream
color carpet in the foreground. The carpet is made with foam paper so
that it can be differentiated from the wall. There is a cabinet to the
left. It has two doors that can be opened. It contains four books
that can be touched and one of them can be opened page by page. Over
the cabinet, there is a frame with a tactile modern art, a wine bottle
and glasses and a bronze colored candle stand with a candle on it.
There’s a teak colored grandfather clock hanging on the wall towards
the left side. The hands in it are tactile... the minute hand is on 5,
the hour hand is on 10 and the seconds hand is on 15. A light brown
Labrador(puppy) is sleeping in a brown colored basket wich is on the
carpet. It is resting its head on his paws which are on the rim of
the basket. His body is half covered with a white sheet. Just beside
him, there’s a standing lamp; the stand has a metallic color where as
the lampshade is yellowish. All of them are 3D, so they can be touched
and explored. It would be nice to know what you all think of it.
Thanks!

Aishwarya.
