Hello Dewey,
I can tell you what I know about Nashville. AccessRide works well for most people I know who use it. It has some issues, but it is hard to complain when looking at how bad other para transit systems are around the state and the country.
The city itself is becoming one of the most popular cities to move to in the country. The cost of living is still low compared to most big towns, but it is rising fasts. If you want to buy a home, you should do it now or you may get priced out of the market soon.
Jobs for the blind are probably no different than anywhere else. As long as you don't give up, you'll find a job. I don't know specifics on your education or work experience, so that makes it hard to give you a great answer. You can email me off list at: jbrown369 at me.com and I can give you more detail.
All the Best,
JB
