Hello:

     If memory serves, Freedom Scientific took over the Telesensory braille 
products. Check with the technical people at Freedom Scientific. I am not 
sure about using a USB to serial adaptor either. It should still be possible 
to get a serial interface card for a PC. Hope this helps.
