I use "add to favorites" rather than "add to favorites bar". That puts them
in the alt-A favorites menu and I can just down arrow to them.

Subject: [Trainer-talk] Issue With Hyper Links
Hello All:
My name is Therese and I have been a lurker on your list for some time now.
I am not an assistive technology trainer but the person who helps others
find you all.
Recently, I have been having issues with my laptop. It is nothing critical
just more annoying. I figured I would pose the question and see if any of
you have suggestions.
A few months back, I was having difficulty with my favorite bar (adding to
it). A friend and I attempted to reinstall Internet 9 hoping this would
resolve the issue. No luck. We then decided to try Google Chrome.
Yes, I understand that Google Chrome isn't very accessible for us JAWS
users, so let us not even go there.
Google Chrome did allow for me to add to my favorites bar. So at least that
problem was solved.
However another problem has reared its ugly head. Now I am unable to click
on a link within an e-mail, word document, excel document, and the list goes
on.
Researching information on the web, suggestions are to make changes in the
register. Neither I or friends feel comfortable doing that.
Any ideas or do I just continue to cut copy the links? Or even simply dump
everything on the laptop and start all over from ground zero. That should be
loads of fun too.
Thanks for any assistance.
Therese
