I am not an official trainer but follow this post. If a person expects
to work in the Federal Government, they will need to know how to use
Outlook.

Hello,
I have a question for the trainers on this list.
How many of you are still teaching Outlook for email, and how many have
begun going away from that and mainly going to web-based mail?
The reason I'm asking is because there's been some discussion from an AT
person where I work, who buys equipment for clients, who questions
continuing to buy Office with Outlook and who questions my continuing to
teach the program unless the person already has it.
The argument is still that many offices and places of employment use
Outlook, along with several schools.
I was just curious what you thought.
Jim
