>From what I know, the orientation is from csun staff, not hotel personnel. Likewise, the Braille maps were from the conference. They ran out because they took the numbers to print, from registration, got that amount, and then gave them out to first come first serve. So, people who hadn't reserved one, got it anyway, and they ran out. I hope they have a better system this year!

As I recall, I got one of the volunteers to help me find a specific booth or two, but I don't think they will go around with you. I mostly do on my own, a little frustrating at times, but manageable with patience.

Subject: [Trainer-talk] CSUN volunteer guides?

Hello, although last year I went with help from a coworker to get to the different booths and sessions, this year that may not be possible. I found that the orientation given by the hotel was not very helpful, and they also ran out of brailled maps. One service I didn't take advantage of was the volunteers. Will they walk around with you, or do they remain at their posts? Are they CSUN employees, or regular hotel staff?
Thanks,
Matthew
