[Trainer-Talk] Question: Plextalk or Victor Stream

I agree with all of Dean's comments. The APH Bookport Plus is
essentially a Plextalk Pocket with some clever modifications to the
Plextalk software. The Plextalk Pocket uses one of the older Nuance
voices, whereas the Bookport Plus uses human narration for its various
prompts. The BPP also has a few additional commands which make
navigating through books and audio a tad more intuitive. The
Plextalk/BPP has incredible recording capabilities, but the Stream, at
least the next gen model, allows for downloading of content from
services such as BARD and Bookshare.
However, bear in mind that Plextalk produces a few other players beside
the Pocket and it's possible that some of the newer Plextalk units may
have features found in the Stream, such as a device which I believe is
called the Plextalk Lineo.
