On the RESNA.Org<http://RESNA.Org> website, under Certification, there is a
certified professionals directory. Within that, there is a search where you
can specify their specialty, and Vision is a choice. I believe you can also
specify a location.

Christine,

First, I'm not aware of such a Web site listing adaptive equipment trainers
but that doesn't mean that such a site does not exist and so we'll see if
anybody else knows of one. Back around the year 2000, the National Braille
Press produced a book called "One on One", which was, essentially, a
directory of various a.t. trainers, along with a description of what they
teach and how much they charge for services. While that book is likely very
much out of date, having a searchable Web site with similar information is a
fabulous idea. If I had more time I would seriously consider such a project
but it's just not something I'm able to do at this time. It's a fabulous
idea.

Hello All,

Does anyone know of a website where I can get a list of assistive technology
trainers listed by state who work with the blind and visually impaired if
so, what is that website address?

I would appreciate any information that you may be able to provide in this
matter.

Thank you for your time regarding this matter.
