Greetings:
OK, now I understand you need the computer, not just a keyboard. I would
suggest using a mid range laptop. If your student isn't using the
screen, then a 14 inch might work nicely. I would also suggest using a
standard keyboard, see my earlier message. I think that tablets are
going to lack the power you need for the applications and tasks you
mentioned.
I just looked at current models, hoping to replace my own machine, and
found that they are much more alike than different. There are a number
of sources which rate and describe Windows machines. Tech Hive and PC
Mag come to mind. Again if you're near a Micro Center store, they can
provide excellent sales help. I'm sure that other outlets in your area
can as well, ask around..
Since you're going to be using Jaws and braille technology make sure you
have a good relationship with your vendor of that technology. If you
don't like your vendor, or if they do not provide good support, make a
change.
If Chromebooks are used in the class room, remember that they have
modest accessibility using the included ChromeVox screen reader. Press
Control plus Alt plus Z to activate it.
Others may have other ideas...

If you mean you're looking for a desktop-style Windows keyboard which is a bit smaller than usual, to accommodate small hands, I would suggest you check out local outlets such as Office Depot, Best Buy, and if you have one definitely Micro Center. Fore some of us the choice of a keyboard is a highly personal thing and requires much trial among differing models. Others simply use what ever is at hand and are good to go.

We will get JAWS 2018, Windows 10 with the package of apps (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Do you know of any place that will sell it?
