Hello:

Olympus makes several pocket sized digital recorders with real buttons. I prefer models that have a USB port for backing information up to a computer. Several also have 4 folders for categorizing files. Once the files are on the computer, they can be given a meaningful name.

I’m looking for several options of main stream voice recorders that can be used to tape class lectures.
The user does have an iPhone, but would like, preferably, to have a stand-alone device that has a more sensitive microphone without needing to spend an arm and a leg for some Specialty talking or braille device.
We are looking for something that is straightforward to use without sight, so touchscreens or complex menus are out.
Please share your opinions or experience with recommended Recording devices.
