[Trainer-Talk] Moving by Link in Google Doc?

Good morning,

I feel like I should know this, but I'm going to toss it out there...

I'm working with someone who is learning to navigate Google Docs with JAWS and Google Chrome. I'm teaching her to use the JAWS Quick Keys Layered Commands rather than Alt + Control + N or P to move to next and previous because the shortcut to activate NVDA interferes and though we could change this on her work laptop, it can't be changed on her work desktop. So consistency is the name of the game!

Anyway, she wants to move by link in a Google Doc. Links list does not work and using Insert + Z to turn on/off Browse Mode doesn't seem to do the trick. I've even tried shifting from Editing to View Only modes and that's a no-go. I'm not sure what to tell her to do...suggestions?

Thanks for any guidance you may have.

Amy
