By all means.  Get the international certificate.  You never know where you 
might want to go besides Canada.  Its like buying trip insurance.  You never 
think you need it until you really need it.

Oh, thank you very much.  That's what I thought, but the travel agent
insisted on the international certificate.  Since the vet can issue the
international health certificate, it probably wouldn't hurt to have one
along, anyway...just in case.
