Yes but it is also up to the person going, some of us only rely on our dogs to get around, and if I started out by saying that I don't think you should bring your dog there, someone would have jumped all over me.
I don't recommend anything that I have not been to yet.
Trevor has been to places, but he also if I remember correctly is not a guide dog user, and thanked him for posting the information. That being said anywhere you go and that includes the United States, you must be vigilant about the safety of your dogs. I have my next door neighbor that has a pitbull that I can say that he is bad news.
But again, until you have been there with you dog, then you don't know. It all depends on where Mike wants to go, if he is going to areas like some really poor parts of any location including in Puerto Rico where my husband's family is, I wouldn't bring my guide dog there, because of the way the dogs run around there, but I would bring him to the hotels, and other areas of Puerto Rico, it all depends on where you are going.
