Okay Peter that is enough.
I post every month, our show isn't nightly it is monthly, there are 4 shows each month on the WTOE Network run by the NFB of New Jersey's Northeast Chapter.
The shows air each Wednesday of the month same call in number etc
The order of the shows
1st Wednesday of each month is The Echevarria Travel show with Host Cheryl Echevarria, Owner of Echevarria Travel and President of the NFB Travel & Tourism Division
2nd Wednesday of the month is "On the Bright Side" with Host Jane Degenshein (who is actually President Joe Ruffalo's Sister) and co-host Jerry Moreno of North Carolina, who is a former NFB of New Jersey person. This show will inform, motivate and inspire with personal stories, anecdotes and much laughter.
3rd Wednesday, which is the original show Thruoureyes with Joe Ruffalo. Who discusses every month NFB related topics and has many people within the NFB Family on the shows like Dr. Maurer, Anil Lewis, John Pare Jr, myself (I was on his show a few times before I had my own show), Jeanie Brown. This past month he had Carol Castellano who is the President of Blind children of New Jersey.  
4th Wednesday of the month is "Looking Good Without Looking" with Linda Thomas and Johanna Baccan. Who discuss whether you are a man or woman, teen, children for the sighted and the disabled all about fashion, makeup and the experiences of Johanna being blind and putting on make up correctly, or how to mark you clothes etc.  Linda Thomas has a daughter who is not only blind but had other disabilities as well.
All of these shows are live to help you and others out there that may want to call in to ask those questions about things or just call in to laugh or even cry about things.
So begging for an audience no, to have a live audience is what we would like. Why offer a call in live talk show just to have it recorded for a podcast.
Not saying that it isn't great to have a podcast or a video so that you  can watch it a later time, but why not call in and someone to talk to.
The other thing is yes people do beg as you put it to run there show, PBS does it all the time. NFB is a volunteer runned non-profit organization as you are aware of Peter.
Which means we run the station on donations, if we don't have the donations we the hosts need to pay for our shows, because we feel what we are doing is  good for everyone.

Also I am posting my podcast of March with the Vice President of the NFB of FL Dwight Sayer as we discuss the NFB of Florida Cruise 2014, plus I had one of my suppliers and good friend Mr. ELI (which is pronounced Elie) Meiri, owner of Israel4all.com, who runs a tour company dedicated for people who are disabled, especially those that are blind, we even had one of his customers call in to speak to us.
