Justin:

I didn't know there was on either. When I had been in contact with Amtrak
and the Essential Access Disability Committee, they never told me that. All
that the kept saying to me was that they have a disability board, and have a
blind person on the board at that time, and that the website was fine. I
have been in communication with them since Valerie Yingling from the
Paralegal office at the NFB Office in Baltimore back in December 2014.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

Thank you for sharing this information Cheryl! I was unaware of the
separate website for Blind or Low vision individuals, but yes I stopped
using the site because of the calendar issue. When I got an iPhone I
started using the app which is awesome! Congratulations to John Pare on
joining the Amtrak Advisory Committee.
