Howdy Folks,
I hope you all have started to, or are planning on, tweeting the members of
the Health and Human Services Committee today to remind them that in
addition to the transfer of vocational rehabilitation, we'd like to see
CCRC, BCVDP, and the Older Blind programs moved to the Texas Workforce
Commission. Here are two of the tweets I've sent out so far, feel free to
reuse/modify as you see fit.
Foster the goal of employment from early childhood. Transfer voc rehab,
CCRC, BCVDP, and Older blind prgms to @TXWorkforce. @DrSchwertner
Blind Texans want to work, @TXWorkforce has the resources to make this
happen. Transfer all TX #blindness prgms to TWC. @loiskolkhorst
Here are the names/twitter handles of all the members of the Health and
Human Services Committee, which were included in Norma's original message.
