Erin, "social behavior," or blind "isms," are common in little children his
age. Ask his teacher to devise some type or reward or punishment agreed to
and agreed upon in your Teacher Conference. You should schedule such a
conference at once, so as not for you to be anxious. Contact me off-list,
please, if you need help.

Let me give a list of "blindisms" not acceptable in public, or in school:
swinging the arms about, spinning around (I occasionally do this when I'm
aboard,) this cause your son to be temporarily dizzy;, eye poking, hands on
or near the eyes, twisting, and/or unnecessary rocking. By correcting
these behaviors _now, we are saying that it looks bad on others who do this
behavior, and on other kids. Like Brandy, I do an occasional blindism when
I'm bored, (in) my house. Out in public, it looks bad on others.
