Hey NABS Fam!
>
>
> The fundraising committee cannot begin to explain how grateful we are to students that are consistently supporting the great work that we do to financially back the programs we provide. Your diligence, reliability, and creativity over the past year has made my experience as fundraising chair an honor. Over the past few weeks, our committee has been hard at work procuring needed connections and items to be successful in our fundraising efforts at national convention in July. Our “NABS Nuggets” cookbook is off to a phenomenal start, with 10 original recipe submissions from various blind students around the country already received.
>
> Our division received a foldable, wireless, Bluetooth capable keyboard as a donation and NABS ran a promo to award this donation to the student that submitted the tenth recipe for our cookbook. I am happy to award this keyboard to Rachel Pavone, the president of the Michigan Association of Blind Students. Everyone please congratulate or thank Rachel for her commitment to building the Federation and its most lively division.
>
> It’s not too late to contribute to our diverse and inclusive cookbook! If you have some time and a few minutes, use the link below to submit a recipe and help make this collection a best seller and your stomach’s favorite item on your bookshelf or computer. NABS will be running a second cookbook promo where the student that submits the 20th recipe to our collection will receive a free electronic copy of the cookbook at our national convention this July. Remember, you can submit more than one recipe and we are open to any types for any kind of cuisine. Add your special spice or flavoring and show us how you rock them pots!
