[nfbcs] ms word still in Tasks?

This morning I used MS Word.
Just now I had reason to kill some processes in Task Manager.
*Why was Word still there? Other programs I've used today were nice and shut down their stuff and *were *no longer running tasks.
I don't know if this is a question so much as an exclamation of disapproval!
