If you open an attached word document, from an Outlook message, then close it, JAWS goes out to lunch, becomes unresponsive and doesn't come back. You have to reboot, and this only happens when you open a Word Document, that is an attachment, from within Outlook.

However, last night I was working in the Excel and had fire fox open. Jaws was so sluggish that I finally had to just unload it and go back to NVDA to complete my work. I didn’t really want to use NVDA with excel because I find that Jaws provided a better experience for me personally. Wonder what’s causing the issue? > > Jeanine Lineback > >> On May 15, 2018, at 12:37 AM, Nicole Torcolini via nfbcs <nfbcs at nfbnet.org> wrote: >> >> Has anyone else noticed that JAWS 2018 seems to hang and crash >> more than previous versions, particularly with Firefox or when working in >> Office products?
