In Volusia County, nothing is done when the driver is late.

If the client is not ready at the designated return time, (meaning not ready
from the doctor's office etc., after waiting an extra 5 minutes beyond this
designated return time, they either become a no show or will call.

If the client is not ready from home at the designated time, the driver
waits 5 minutes and then leaves, making that client a no show. after so
many no shows, the client is removed from riding for a certain period of
time.

No receipts are given, and no end of the year statements are issued as to
the amount of money spent by the client.

Subject: [Nfbf-l] Para-transit

Greetings,
I hope this e-mail finds everyone in great health & high spirits!!!

I am doing some research and can use your input. When it comes to the para
transit system in your area, what is their policy when the drivers are
late/pass the pick up window? Is your ride free, do they apologize, or is
nothing done? Are you penalized if you are late? Are you provided a receipt
from the driver or able to obtain documentation from the company indicating
how often you used system/amount you spent within a year?

I thank you in advance for your responses. And happy holidays!!!
