This message is from Roger Woodhour, the volunteer of the Seeing Eye Puppy Raisers, who was walking Dusty and had the tip of his middle finger removed by the bite of the dog that attacked Dusty and him. We plan to communicate with Roger, Lisa Yakomin, the Chief of Staff for Assemblyman Robert Schroeder and Ginger Kutsch as the next 3 or 4 weeks are crucial in the timing with the state legislature to bring this bill to a hearing and then the committee when they have the next sessions in May. I will follow-up further on this very soon.

Dear Vincent:

It my my pleasure to participate in the meeting last evening. I am very encouraged by the outpouring of support for A2728 from everyone who was on the call. It is enthusiasm and support such as this that will lead to the hearing and passage of A2728 in the Assembly and the Senate. 

As you heard last evening our purpose is to help protect guide dogs and their handlers from vicious attacks and serious interference and we will continue until we prevail.

Please keep me updated on anything you receive related to attacks and interference involving guide dogs and I will keep you (As will Lisa and Ginger.) updated on our progress with the legislation as we move forward.
