Hi Elizabeth,

As a former VR counselor, I had to jump into this great conversation.
Good for you for knowing what you want and researching. All VR programs have to follow the same federal regulations. This means that the rules are going to be the same regardless of which state you work with. Sometimes there are a few policies that vary from state to state. No Vr program is able to make any kind of promise or commitment about funding a service prior to an individual going through the VR process - application, eligibility, vocational goal and plan development. The Colorado DVR website is accessible and contains helpful information, including the policy manual and information about what the agency can pay for, so take advantage of that info. Dan sent that link to you in an earlier note and it is easy to find on the internet.
Good luck with your career goals.

Julia

Hi Amy,
So if I close my case in Illinois, and I open a new one in Colorado, would I have to be 23, or live there for a while?
