Subject: [NFB-Seniors] Important Information About Our NFB Seniors Division
List - A helpful note about this list
A message from the NFB Seniors Division's main announce list!
Hi You all
First, after reading the below short note, do not respond to this message!
That would bring unnecessary message traffic into everyone's inbox. There
again, if you have a question or comment, send it to me at my personal email
address: robertleslienewman at gmail.com <mailto:robertleslienewman at gmail.com>
Note: My first point is - If you receive this message, you are a member of
nfb-seniors list; and may have been a member for years! Thanks for being a
member; truly. Here we will send out meaningful information concerning: the
NFB Seniors Division business; notices of blindness related events and/or
information to live your life as a blind senior.
Second point- Posting to this list has become restricted, meaning: you can
send a message to the list, but it will be held, then reviewed by a
designated Division member who has the job to read it and decide if it meets
our new set of standards for posting to members inboxes; standards laid out
in point #1. If your message is not going to be allowed to the list, you
will get a message from the list moderator with a short note as to why it is
being rejected; with a helpful suggestion relating to the text of your
message.
Lastly- remember or if you are new to this list, do be aware that we have a
second list for seniors! It is the nfb-seniors-discussion list. And it is
not only open for anyone to join, but also it has no restrictions to
posting; other than. being respectful to others. Chat, share experiences,
and learn how to better live the life you want.
Respectfully yours,
Robert Leslie Newman
NFBN Senior Division, President
NFB Seniors Division, Second Vice President
NFBN Omaha Chapter, Secretary
