Dear Committee and List Members,

Because of technical difficulties, registration for the 2022 Washington
Seminar Career Fair will not be up before Monday, January 10. I was
informed of this today.

In order for everyone to have a full two weeks to sign up, I am planning to
move the end date for registrations to Wednesday, January 26 at 8 pm
eastern time. That should allow enough time to get employer information out
to job seekers and job seeker information out to employers.

Please note that we have made some changes in registration to simplify the
process, especially for job seekers. One major change is that you need to
give us permission to send your resume and registration information to
employers. We value your privacy, but we also want to make sure employers
have enough information on you.

Likewise, employers will have the option to not receive that information,
as some are not allowed by their rules to accept resumes and other
application information. Otherwise, I think everything should make sense.

Since we are operating on a short time frame, we are asking deafblind job
seekers who plan to attend to complete the survey at the end of the job
seeker registration to let us know about any needs for interpreters.

Thank you all for your patience. We hope you find the new registration
forms more user-friendly..

Best wishes,
Dick Davis,Chair
NFB Employment Committee
