As the Human Resources' Leave Management Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for providing all necessary coordinated services to the management and employees of the Department of Administration, Minnesota Management and Budget, and assigned SmART customers. The incumbent must integrate contract language, federal and state law, and administrative policies/procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
*         Serve as Leave Management Coordinator for FMLA and all other contract-approved leave requests (e.g., medical leave of absence, Paid Parental Leave, military leave, etc.) from the partner agencies' team members.
*         Accountable for providing timely documents, communication, and information to employees, supervisors, and transactions/benefits/payroll staff in accordance with state/federal law, state policy and contracts/plans.
*         Coordinate with HR Supervisor 2 to resolve complicated requests.
*         Process and update human resources leave transactions for the Department of Administration, MMB, and SmART clients to ensure that personnel actions are taken in a timely and accurate manner.
*         Coordinate with the Agency ADA Coordinator requests for accommodations that are included as part of leave requests in compliance with the ADA and state and federal disability and leave laws and policies.
*          Assist the Workers' Compensation Coordinator and Admin, MMB, and SmART employees who report injuries in returning to work status and referring to the staffing team and/or ADA Coordinator as appropriate.
*         Perform other duties as assigned.
