NORMAN/ NORMAN tells the riveting story of how a doting father of four
girls tries to reconcile with his mother’s murderer: his own father. For
14 years Norman Jr. has happily raised his four daughters with his wife in
New Jersey. However overwhelming childhood trauma from witnessing his
mother’s brutal murder, at age six, forces him to travel to Jamaica to
confront the father he hasn’t seen since the murder - 30+ years prior.
The documentary offers a complex exploration of guilt, vulnerability and
questions whether forgiveness is enough for Norman to overcome the tragic
crime that shaped his life.
Following the viewing Norman will be joining us for discussion and Q&A
October 2025
