They? Who is "they"? Chris, aren't *you* the NFB? What part of this task are
*you* volunteering for? After all, the unofficial motto of NFB leaders is:
"You thought of it; you *do* it!". Our national staff has only so much time
so any of this that individual NFB members wish to take on is much
appreciated!

That's a great idea, Tina! When reading this email, I was going to ask how
people who couldn't attend the convention can obtain these recordings. What
I would suggest doing (if you're making a digital recording) is talking to
the appropriate people at the national center and sending them the digital
recordings you have.
They can then collect the recordings and put them on the National Convention
Highlights page in the Audio/Video Center on nfb.org.
Also, you could send an email to Gary Wunder, editor of the Braille Monitor,
with a notice saying that you have recordings that you would like to either
sell or give away to any interested Federationist, your choice what to do
with the selling or giving away. Hope this helps!

This list has been almost dead over the past several months, so I thought
I'd get things rolling by asking what people plan to record for archive
during the convention. I will be doing the Membership committee meeting, as
well as the Newsletter and Publications committee. They're on separate
nights this year, which is a first. Other than that, I'm wide open.

I also plan to do the Living History group meeting this year, as usual.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but what good is it when people
record all this stuff, but it only reaches the one who does the recordings
and no one else? I'd like to get us thinking seriously about establishing a
web site where this great stuff can be distributed.

Whatever you do, bring your mp3 players and voice recorders with you to
Orlando, so we can add to our already rich collection.
Let's all try to contribute something this year. Thanks.
