Hello list,
Does anyone on here have any experience with stepless coffee grinders? In
particular espresso focused grinders? Are they as inaccessible as they seem
or can they be made accessible with a little marking here and there? My
concern is that the micron adjustment would be so minuscule for dialing in,
it really wouldnt be feasible as a day to day or bean to bean option.
Im looking to upgrade from my Baratza virtuoso and it appears like a lot of
the espresso grinders are stepless. There are enough stepped grinder in the
$200 range, but thats not going to be much better than what Ive already
got with my virtuoso or my K-Max hand grinder. Im in search of something of
better quality than an entry level/budget grinder.
On the other hand, if someones using a stepped espresso grinder, Id be
curious to know your experience and the model. Right now, Im not really
interested in the Baratza Encore ESP or Fellow or Breville grinders though.
Thanks,
