Concurso de Composiciones en Braille por Onkyo

El concurso de composiciones Braille por Onkyo, está siendo administrado por la Federación Nacional de Ciegos, en nombre de la Unión Mundial de Ciegos, Región del Caribe de América del Norte.

 

Las composiciones deben ser escritas por los participantes del concurso, en Inglés o en su lengua materna, en Braille, y deben ser completamente originales en su naturaleza. Los escritos deben tener no menos de 800 palabras, y no más de 1.000 palabras de largo. Habrán dos grupos de competidores, un grupo de jóvenes, con edades entre 25 y menores, y un grupo de personas mayores, de 26 años y más, y los premios varían de $ 500 a $ 2.000.

 

Temas de composición:

1. ¿Cómo se adquieren los conocimientos y la información mediante dispositivos Braille o en audio? (Ilustrar con algunos episodios y relatos personales interesantes.)

 

2. ¿Cómo pueden las personas ciegas ser independientes por aprender Braille o música?

 

3. El concepto individual de la paz mundial desde el punto de vista de las personas con discapacidad.

 

Todas las composiciones deben ser recibidas para no más adelante que el 30 de abril del 2012.

  The Onkyo Braille essay contest is being administered by the National Federation of the Blind on behalf of the North America-Caribbean Region of the World Blind Union.

   

  Essays must be written by contest participants, in English or their native language, in Braille, and must be completely original in nature. Entries should be no fewer than 800 words and no more than 1,000 words in length. There will be two groups of competitors-one Junior group, aged 25 and under; and one Senior group, aged 26 and up, and prizes range from $500-$2,000.

   

  Essay topics:

  1. How do you acquire knowledge and information through Braille or audio devices? (Illustrate with some interesting personal stories/episodes.)

   

  2. How can blind persons become independent by learning Braille or music?

   

  3. Individual concept about world peace from the viewpoint of persons with disabilities.

   

  All essays must be received by April 30, 2012.
