[NFBMD] when the blind person can't talk

Michelle I was thinking of the time when had a trake put down her throat and
as a result could no longer talk.  Normally that's a standard proceedure so
that puts the blind person at an immediate disadvantage.  I had an awful
time with head nods and hand gestures and I fortunately one of the nurses
noticed my problem and did a great job interpreting those nonverbal gestures
to me.
