[NFBMD] Need People to Attend Hearings in Annapolis February 20, 21, and 23

Folks,

We are looking for participants to attend the four upcoming hearings in
Annapolis - two of which are on the same day.  I wrote previously about the
voting hearings, but we now also have the dates for the Textbook Equity
hearings as well.  Please reach out if you can attend one or more of these
hearings - unfortunately they are all in the same week.  Note the hearing on
Friday, February 23 begins at 9AM instead of the usual 1PM.

 

HB0775 - Electronic Ballot Return for Voters with Disabilities (House):
February 20, 2024 1PM

SB0802 - Electronic Ballot Return for Voters with Disabilities (Senate):
February 21, 2024 1PM

HB1076 - Textbook Equity for Blind and Visually Impaired Students (House):
February 21, 2024 1:00PM

SB1091 - Textbook Equity for Blind and Visually Impaired Students (Senate):
February 23, 2024 9:00AM

 

 

If you can attend one or more of these hearings, please let me know by
February 15.  Please also advise if you need transportation from the NFB or
the New Carrollton Metro Station.

Folks,

Separate and apart from the February 20 hearing in the House, we need people
to attend the hearing on Electronic Ballot Return in the Maryland Senate on
Wednesday, February 21, 2024.  Please write to me off-list if you are able
to attend.  Please also advise if you need transportation from Baltimore NFB
or New Carrollton Metro Station.

 

Please let me know by February 14 if you can attend.
