[NFBMO] Join The Technology Committee at the State Convention for a Session: Harnessing Technology: A Guided Overview of WhatsApp and Be My Eyes

Hello everyone,

 

The Technology Committee of the National Federation of the Blind of Missouri invites you to join us for an interactive learning session titled “Harnessing Technology: A Guided Overview of WhatsApp and Be My Eyes.”

This session will focus on two practical apps that make communication and connection more accessible for everyone.

 

Attendees will gain hands-on experience using WhatsApp to stay in touch with friends, family, and community groups, and explore how Be My Eyes connects people who are blind or have low vision with sighted volunteers for visual assistance.

A full event brief and agenda are included below for your reference in both regular and large print. We encourage attendees to bring a smartphone or device with WhatsApp and Be My Eyes installed, if possible, to get hands-on supports immediately following the guided session.
